Application and approval process
The server onboarding flow consists of the steps application → installation → measurement → review → going live. This article explains what happens at each step and what the status labels mean.
Application form
What the Servers → New server application form asks for:
- Domain name: A fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that resolves over public DNS. An IP address is not accepted; only one record with the same domain name can exist in the network.
- Hardware profile: CPU, memory and bandwidth tier. Your declaration is compared against the inventory the server self-reports after installation.
- Service type: HIZTESTI Servers Network (open to HIZTESTI.COM visitors) and/or HIZTESTI Custom (serves only your own embedded widgets). At least one must be selected.
- Displayed information: The organization name, website and the server's real location shown on the result card. The organization name and website are required only for a public-network application.
In the public network, the same organization may have only one server in the same city (geographic diversity rule); Custom-only servers are not subject to this rule.
Statuses

| Awaiting approval | The application was received; you are expected to run the install command. |
| Measuring | The installation record arrived; the server is sending signals and going through automatic measurement; the review is in progress. |
| Approved | The server is live — receiving traffic for the service types you selected. |
| Quarantine | A performance/availability issue or a declared-versus-actual inconsistency; the server was temporarily removed from rotation. You can fix the issue and request a re-review. |
| Rejected | The application did not meet the acceptance criteria; the reason is included in the review note and in the email. |
| Removing / Removed | Decommissioning started at your request; the server finishes the tests in progress during a ~5-minute drain, then is permanently removed. |
Automatic measurement and review
- From installation onward, your server sends a regular health signal; NETMETRİK also makes independent measurement queries to your server.
- The review covers availability, measurement results, declaration consistency and the organizational requirements (requirements).
- Applications are usually resolved within 2 business days; the decision is sent to your organization's registered email address.
Post-approval lifecycle
- Continuous health check: A server whose signal drops is automatically set to passive (removed from rotation) shortly after; it returns to rotation once the signal comes back.
- Performance check: If a clear inconsistency is detected between reported speed and independent measurement, the server is quarantined and you are notified.
- Decommissioning: Started via Decommission on the server detail page; tests in progress are not interrupted, and the record closes after a ~5-minute drain.
- Correcting information: If your application details need correcting (a typo, etc.), you can withdraw an application that has not yet entered review and resubmit it, or request a correction via support.
Manipulation = permanent removal
Attempts to artificially inflate measurement results (a dedicated path/cache for measurement traffic, signal spoofing, etc.) are flagged by automatic checks and are grounds for permanent removal from the network.
