HIZTESTI Servers

Why become a NETMETRİK server sponsor?

Organizations that add a server to the HIZTESTI Servers network are recognized as sponsors. Sponsorship is free; the mutual value comes from visibility and data.

The HIZTESTI Servers network is the pool of servers that carry speed-test measurements wherever its members operate. Organizations that add a server to the network (data centres, internet service providers, hosting companies, universities) are recognized as sponsors. NETMETRİK neither charges nor pays for adding a server to the network.

Sponsor benefits

  • Brand visibility: Your organization's name and a sponsor link to your website appear on the result card of every user who runs a test through your server. You also appear under your organization's name in the HIZTESTI.COM server picker.
  • Reporting: From the Reports screen in the portal you can view a summary of the tests run through your servers (test count, median download / upload / latency, connection type and ISP breakdown) and export it as CSV.
  • In-network traffic: When your own subscribers' tests land on a server in your own infrastructure, the measurement traffic stays inside your network; transit costs drop and your subscribers see the real performance of your infrastructure.
  • Accurate measurement: Offering a geographically close server to the users in your region improves measurement quality for everyone in that region.

What we expect from sponsors

  • A continuously reachable server that meets the server requirements (at least 1 Gbps dedicated bandwidth).
  • Accurately declared hardware, location and bandwidth information — the system automatically compares the declaration against reality.
  • Avoiding any attempt to manipulate measurement results; such attempts are grounds for permanent removal from the network.
Continuous health monitoring
Your server is monitored continuously: servers that become unreachable are automatically removed from rotation and reinstated once the issue is resolved. Details: Application and approval process.
